There were quite a few little second hand book shops around this area. It’s a shame I don’t read Japanese (although probably better for my wallet).IMG_6425

Literally every turn around a corner seemed like  a new area that was worth exploring. IMG_6426

I think the lanterns that are often seen outside restaurants are great, but I particularly like the pig version seen here.  IMG_6430

Often entrances to restaurants (and some shops too) were covered covered by a small curtain, this one decorated with a pufferfish. IMG_6435
