Plethora of peacocks

A few shots today from Kirby Hall in Northamptonshire, a favourite destination of mine in the area. It’s known not only for the semi-ruin of a Elizabethan country house which is maintained by English Heritage, but also for the usual plethora of peacocks which roam around the grounds.

This tree clearly had a bit of a parasite problem…

The country house itself, which even in it’s semi-ruinous state remains impressive.
