The unlikely graffiti hero
Portugal, you may have heard, is a country beset by economic crisis. I won’t bore you with details, but here is a proof that the Portuguese are a sophisticated, moderate bunch: a graffiti of John Maynard Keynes, on the streets of Lisbon.
I was surprised at the choice of political-economic figure for this; it’s usually good old Karl Marx‘s effigy which populates the walls of Manchester.
That’ll be my project for the first part of this year: political graffiti. Let’s see what I can come up with!
