Road trip stops: Roman Temple of Evora
One of the several stops on our recent Portugal/Spain road trip was the Roman Temple of Diana in Évora. We arrived mid-morning and the sun was rising right behind the temple which made photography a little difficult because of the strong light, but a little black and white conversion with this one actually turned out ok creating a silhouette.
This year I’ve decided to try and develop a few little photography projects – one of which is shadows. This shot of my shadow was by accident and isn’t that striking at all, but I intend in the future to try and capture some shots where the shadow becomes the focus of the image, or at least improves the images.
This was just one of the several Unesco world heritage sites visited on this road trip. There’ll be more photos soon!
