Writing on other people’s walls: Fernando Pessoa edition

I’ve said before that I have a fascination with graffiti. Not all of it – I understand little of tags and assorted scribbles, but good wall art fascinates me. Seen in Espinho (Portugal), on a recent visit home.

From a bygone era, I give you Fernando Pessoa, potentially the best Portuguese poet of the 20th century, later on the unfortunate and involuntary idol of generation after generation of crypto-fascists.
