Time Lady

During our visit to the Royal Observatory in Greenwich, this Lady (note capital L) was talking about time. She played a fictional character, Time, and was saying her piece in a wonderfully Victorian diction that hooked onlookers.

I think the people who came up with the idea were going for the Mary Poppins reference (maybe even a bit of Nanny McPhee). For any Terry Pratchett buffs reading this, she instantly put me in mind of Susan. Fair enough, given Susan’s relationship to Time.
