Highlights of New York (2)

Part 2 of the highlights from our recent trip to New York. Part 1 covered, Times Square and the Statue of Liberty.

The Magnolia Bakery, one of my favourite places for cupcakes in New York. Fortunately, I had to pass the branch near the Rockefeller Center every day to get to the conference.

We managed to take a trip up to the top of the Empire State building. It was a bitterly cold, and extremely windy day so we didn’t stay outside too long, but long enough to get a few shots.

An impressive sight, in any direction.

Jumping back again to Times Square…

These ladies advertise the musical Chicago (as if you hadn’t guessed) showing on Broadway. They even stopped to do a quick dance.

Taken with Canon 450D: ISO 200, 50mm, f/4.8, shutter speed 1/250.

Part 3 of the New York highlights coming soon…
