Squirrel vs Magpie
So there I was staring out of the window (a good alternative to work sometimes) and I noticed that a magpie was following a squirrel on the front lawn. This went on for a while where the magpie would creep up on the squirrel, the squirrel would turn around and the magpie would hop a few paces away pretending it wasn’t trying to follow. I went off to grab my camera, and the game continued. You will have to forgive the image quality, this all happened so fast I just left everything in auto, and the autofocus on this lens is incredibly slow (Canon450D with Tamron 70-300mm).
The magpie creeps up on the squirrel.
The squirrel turns round and the magpie gets all flustered.
Then the squirrel decides to run away, and hide up a tree for a rest.
